More Montreal...

Despite the cold I got some great pictures of Old Montreal. Their seasonal decorations were so creative.
I especially like these upside down Christmas trees.
These beautiful silver globes were hanging in the entrance to one very chic art gallery. I desperately want to duplicate this in my own home next year! My lack of double height ceilings might present a slight conceptual problem however...
Amazing chandelier in another gallery. I'd kill to have this. No, seriously.
I'm also quite tempted to try to duplicate this unique paper installation. It looked so lovely cascading from the ceiling in the morning light.

Greetings from Montreal....

Well, just a quick teaser of images from my three day jaunt to Montreal for the Waterhouse exhibit. It was cold and windy, but I did manage to get some nice images of Old Montreal my last day there. All the Christmas decorations were still up and I can only imagine how gorgeous it must have been for the Christmas season with everything lit up. This one above was one of my favorites, but lots more later.
The window displays were also lovely. I wish I'd had more time!

I'm late, I'm late...

Oh I'm so behind, and it's not even February yet. I will now attempt to play catch up. Randomness will follow.

I must send a sincere thank you out to The Paris Apartment. I was one of the lucky winners of her book giveaway and received Park Avenue Potluck, a lovely book full of chic recipes and stunning photos.

Anyways, if you're not reading Paris Apartment, you should be. Her blog is one of my favorite "living vicariously through the fabulousness of someone else" destinations.

She has these beauties among others available in her shop. To die for!
