A huge thank you to The New Victorian Ruralist blog for turning me on to this magnificent artist! And do go check out Su Blackwell's blog and shop...I only shared a fraction of her gorgeous work!

Merry Christmas...

Merry Christmas! Or, as I like to say, Merry Turkey Day! Mr. Mouse and I had our own celebration two days ago since he is working today, and if I do say so myself we stuffed and roasted a fantastic turkey! We have been dining on the leftovers for two days now (with much more frozen for future feasting) and I'm still hard put to decide whether the stuffing or the turkey is more delicious... oh well, I guess I'll just have to have some more and continue the evaluation!

Wishing you all a wonderful warm food-filled day of feasting with treasured family and friends!

Fur...

I know fashion fur is not the most politically correct thing, but I grew up with a father who'd grown up in the North with his own trap route since the age of 10, so it's definitely one of those cultural differences! For my own preferences if I want fur I buy vintage, but whatever your position (fur or faux) you can't deny the appeal of soft furry cosiness on a cold winter's day!

Stay warm this week!

At The French Mouse House...

This year I'm obsessed with simple and nature inspired holiday decorations, for some of my favorites I hope you'll click on over to The French Mouse House and enjoy some gorgeous greenery on this wintry day!
