A spell of winter...

I hope you're all enjoying this beautiful winter season. Fresh fallen snow makes everything look like a fairytale to me, and this gorgeous image is wintry wonder at its best I think. 

I've been taking stock of a lot of things in my life lately and now that all the fuss from our move to the country has quieted down I'm ready to strip away the things that have been overwhelming me and start prioritizing the things that really truly make me happy. I've been working on a book for the last couple years and my chronic pain condition has really put a damper on how much time I can spend on the computer, so in an effort to finally get the story done and off to my agent I've decided to make The French Mouse a weekly blog rather than a daily one (as I was attempting before with on and off success!) I've also decided to combine my decor and interior design blog The French Mouse House with this one in the spirit of further streamlining my life. So I won't be checking in here as often, but please know that I love my little blog and all its readers and I hope you will still stop by as I share the beautiful things that inspire me!
